This 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe shows 71k miles and is finished in Black over a Black leather interior with Rootwood trim. The car spent time in New Mexico and Chicago before its purchase by the previous owner who brought it to Canada in 2007. The seller acquired the car six years ago and has added approximately 12k miles since. Power comes from a 3.6L flat-six paired to a 6-speed manual transaxle, and the car has several interesting factory options. A February 2018 service included replacing the hood struts, checking the oil levels, and cleaning the underbody. Modifications include an LP muffler, FD Motorsports transmission mounts, chin spoiler protection, and a Porsche CDR-210 C/D player. This 993 is now being offered for sale in Vancouver with some service record, a hand-written maintenance log, and a clean British Columbia title in the seller’s name.
This example is finished in Black (L741) and there has been previous paintwork on the fenders, front bumper, and hood on two separate occasions to repair rock chips. This car was ordered without the model designation on the decklid (option 498). The seller notes some scratches throughout the body with photos viewable in the gallery.
17″ Cup wheels feature painted spokes and Porsche crests. In 2011, all four wheels were repainted and some curb rash is noted. The front tires were reportedly replaced in August 2011 at 55k miles, and the rear tires were replaced at 63k miles. Per the seller, the brakes were inspected in July 2016 at 68k miles and showed the following measurements:
- Right front – 30.86mm
- Right rear – 23.42mm
- Left front – 30.7mm
- Left rear – 23.42mm
- Front – 50% life
- Rear – 40% life
The interior is trimmed in Black leather with power adjustable pleated leather seats. Dark Rootwood trim covers the dashboard, door panels, shifter, and parking brake lever. A Porsche CDR-210 C/D player replaces the stock unit, and the cigarette lighter does not work. The seller notes some wear on the steering wheel, along with a couple spots on the seats.
Interestingly, this car has factory option 419 which is a rear luggage compartment in place of the rear seats.
The 3.6-liter M64 flat-six is mated to a Getrag G50/20 6-speed manual transaxle and modifications include an LP muffler-mod and FD Motorsports transmission mounts. Maintenance conducted by the seller over the years included replacing the drive belts, installing a new battery, hood struts, front suspension bushings, as well as transmission and brake fluid flushes.
Several photos of the underbody can be seen in the gallery detailing the condition of the drivetrain.
