Produced by Kansas based Scarab

Motorsports LLC – modeled after the aesthetic specifications of the original, but with

modern day safety improvements.

These improvements as follows: Body – Handcrafted aluminum

built for exacting detail; wire edged where appropriate Hood and door latches,

hinges and pins as original. Rear bumper – with license plate mount, Lexan headlight

covers Frame, Tig welded 4130 Chrome moly steel; powder-coated chassis black

Drive shaft safety loops Suspension and Brake Components Corvette C6 uprights & amp. Stainless steel brake. Lines Differential – Winters quick change, independent rear suspension Adjustable

Pedal Assembly with brake bias adjustment Line lock parking brake Electrical

System. Headlights & taillights with turn signals Complete wiring

harness Horn Aluminum battery tray with battery cables Cockpit Stewart Warner

gauges as original Custom-made, aluminum vintage style racing seats with exposed

aluminum back 5 point racing harness driver and passenger seat belts. Aluminum

transmission tunnel and drive shaft cover. Hand held Steering Wheel – 4 spoke original

style with quick release Switches. Original Windshield – Lexan with side

windows Other Fuel cell with sending unit, hard line and braided steel fuel lines

with connectors. Aluminum radiator with overflow tank. Electric radiator fan

Steering system. Race-approved safety steering -column and quick release steering wheel. External racing gas cap Tires and Wheels. Tires – DOT approved street tires Wheels – 16 inch, original style

Halibrand 5 hole Kidney Bean. Electronic ignition by MSD. The transmission is the tried and true Muncie, (with separate lever for reverse) turning a Winters Quick-Change differential out back.

This beautiful machine is powered by a 383cu.in.

Small Block Chevy, topped off with a Hill born fuel injection system that has been

upgraded to modern computer control. Finished in the striking Blue and White ivory – originally designed by the famed Von Dutch. When equipped with period disc brakes and an iron cylinder head engine, this Scarab has been approved by the Sports car Vintage Racing Association for its vintage track
