This Acura Integra Type R is one of 1,000 examples sold in the US market for the 1998 model year and shows just under 22k miles. The car is finished in Championship White over a black cloth interior, while power comes from a 1.8-liter VTEC inline-four mated to a 5-speed manual transaxle and limited-slip differential. It was acquired by the seller five months ago from its second owner, and only 15 miles have reportedly been added since. This Type R is now offered with a 114-page inspection report from April 2018, two sets of wheels, manuals, a window sticker, a pair of grey Type R keys, and a clean Washington State title in the seller’s name.
This example is finished in Championship White (NH-0) and six body panel VIN tags are shown in the photo gallery below. A JDM front-end conversion kit was installed following a minor accident in October 1999 according to the seller, reportedly using OEM components.
Type-R exclusive aerodynamics consist of a front chin spoiler and rear wing. A set of 16″ JDM wheels is mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires at each corner, and the stock 15″ 7-spoke wheels will be included in the sale. The car has been garage kept since new according to the seller.
Type R-specific sport seats feature black cloth upholstery with microsuede bolstering and red contrast stitching. Other features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and the factory Acura-branded CD-player and checkered floor mats remain in place. The odometer displays just over 21,600 miles, a handful of which have been added by the seller.
The B18C5 1.8L VTEC inline-four is mated to a close-ratio 5-speed manual gearbox and produced 195 horsepower at 8,000 rpm when new. According to the seller, service conducted under previous ownership included changing the belts and engine oil.
