Your Rig Will Thank You

Interested in a set of free tires? We don’t know of anyone under the sun who would decline the opportunity. Tires are super critical to literally every single vehicle on the road, and in the modified and performance world, they can make or break a whole build. But we don’t need to sell you on a set of BFGoodrich Tires; you know the importance and value. BFG’s are probably on your build wish list, in fact.

In case you haven’t heard, BFGoodrich is holding a contest called WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING FOR? and time is running out for you to enter. The idea behind the contest is this: BFGoodrich supports your passion and wants to know the story behind your build. We all love talking about our rigs, so this is not really asking too much.

You have probably seen the previous winners for May, June, July and August on fourwheeler.com. They include Tony Farson’s 1968 Toyota FJ40, the Marcus family’s 1967 International Harvester, Kirk Cessac’s 1985 Jeep CJ-7, and Sly Lumpkin’s 1986 Toyota 4Runner. Two more winners for September and October will receive a tire certificate good for one set of tires up to $1,000. Your chance to enter ends on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:59PM ET. Entries rollover from one month to the next, so you don’t need to re-enter each month. One entry per person per Facebook account.

Here’s how to enter. Go to the 4-Wheel & Off-Road Facebook page. While you’re at it, give it a like if you haven’t already. On the left-hand side, click on the What Are You Building For tab. That’s the entry form. Upload a photo and fill in a creative and compelling photo caption. Include your name, email address, and zip code, and you’re all set. It’s pretty simple and straightforward.

There are two additional interesting tidbits from the fine print. First, eligible entries will be judged on the following criteria: (1) creativity (25%); (2) originality (25%); and (3) relatedness to an BFGoodrich event (50%). Secondly, “The potential winner will be contacted via direct message on Facebook. Inability to contact a potential winner, the return of any prize notification as undeliverable, or the failure of the potential winner to respond to the prize notification in 48 hours will result in the prize being forfeited and awarded to an alternate potential winner.”
You know what you need to do. You have nothing to lose.
