007’s Aston Martin is the choice ride for latest Royal Wedding

October 12th marked yet another Royal wedding, and, like most modern marriages involving monarchy, this very public ceremony was broadcast around the world—not just For Your Eyes Only.

While everybody else was looking at Princess Eugenie of York’s stunning dress, though, we were looking at the cars, and this time they were to Die Another Day for.

After Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank both exchanged A Vow to a Kill, they were whisked away From Windsor With Love in an Aston Martin DB10 specially designed for the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, which had been waiting outside for them On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.

Prince William and Kate Middleton also famously drove off to their reception in an Aston Martin, an unbelievably stunning DB6 Vantage Volante personally owned by Prince Charles (well done, old boy). We suppose this proves that when it comes to British sports cars at Royal weddings, You Only Drive Twice.

While seeing the Royals being chased down the street by an angry Camilla in a Jaguar C-X75 would have shocked The Living Daylights out of us, we have no doubt the DB10 would be capable of dispatching it post-haste.

Only 10 examples of the DB10 were created for the film, and only one has come up for public sale since being built (it sold for an amazing US$3.6 million). Despite basically being an old Vantage V8 with a body kit, the 007 connection was like a Goldfinger that helped drive the high sale price.

The one for the wedding was, we assume, loaned to the Royals by Aston Martin itself, though the automaker would probably tell you Dr. No if you were to ask to borrow it, forcing you to settle for a new Vantage instead. The World Is Not Enough for you, is it?

Diamonds Are Forever, but I think we’ll take the DB10 instead.
