New imagery just released confirms it: the next Mazda 3 will make its world premier at the Los Angeles Auto Show. And it looks like we’ll be getting the five-door hatch and the four-door sedan. With styling cues pulled from the Kai concept and use of the Kodo design language (more on that here), the new Mazda three takes promises to be even Zoom-Zoomier than its predecessors.

Jaguar Land Rover says it’s getting into electric motorcycles, starting with this Arc Vector, an all-electric bike that comes with some seriously futuristic wearable tech. The Human Machine Interface that comes with it is comprised of a sensory suit and a helmet with haptic features and a HUD. This might just be the most connected ride on two wheels ever.

It’s a good time to rent a car according to a new JD Power poll that looked at customer satisfaction. In the 23 years that the company has performed its survey, 2018 revealed the most pleased rental customers of all time. Kinda surprising, considering the ride-share boom. This positive rating likely has to do with the value customers feel they’re getting for their money; the price of renting a car hasn’t changed much in recent years despite models consistently improving. In case you missed the countless headlines, the German manufacturer is celebrating its 70th birthday, and doing so in the most extravagant ways. Most recently, Porsche gifted itself 10 restored first generation Boxsters (see how they did it here). You can catch them on view at the NEC Classic Motor Show in England this month.

GM Defense is building this beastly, hydrogen-powered military truck

It’s called the Silverado ZH2, it’s powered by hydrogen-fuel cell and battery tech and GM Defense is making it. We know this isn’t a toy and it’s probably massively expensive but we want one. Unfortunately, they’re not being made available to the public…which is what they said about the Hummer until Arnold laid his greedy eyes on them.
