This 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe is powered by a 3.4-liter flat-six paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, and is finished in Speed Yellow over a black interior. This 996 was reportedly a corporate car for Porsche for the first 6k miles, and was leased for a year beginning in mid-2001. The second owner purchased the car from Rusnak Porsche in 2002, and it stayed with the second owner through the current owner’s acquisition in 2012. Features include factory sports suspension and Turbo-look wheels, and the car has been fitted with an LN Engineering IMS retrofit. This 996 Carrera is offered on behalf of the current owner with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title.
The exterior is finished in Speed Yellow (L12H) over 18″ 993 Turbo-look wheels with Hankook Ventus tires. The front bumper was repainted due to minor cracking in the finish, and the seller notes some signs of use, including chips in the paint near the hood release, and slight scuffing on the factory wheels.
The car retains factory Porsche lighting, including clear front turn signals and tinted rear lenses. A set of monochromatic center caps have been installed in place of the factory full-color items.
The cabin is upholstered in black with leather front and rear seat upholstery matched by black carpets and interior trim. The car retains a factory Becker CDR-220 stereo system, and is equipped with a factory CD storage tray. The seller notes that the stereo volume knob is sticky, and will periodically hold on a given volume. Additional features include air conditioning, heat, and power windows and locks. Photos are provided of the interior LCD displays and trim.
Factory instrumentation has been retained, including a centrally mounted tachometer, 175 mph speedometer, and several auxiliary gauges. Just over 41k miles are shown on the digital odometer, approximately 13k of which were added by the current owner.
The 3.4-liter flat-six sends power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission, and was factory rated at 296 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The car was fitted with an LN Engineering IMS retrofit (IMSR2862) at 27k miles, and additional service records are shown in the gallery.
Additional photos of the underside are provided, and depict the floors, suspension components, exhaust, and driveline.
The underhood option code sticker is intact, and the option codes decode as follows:
