This 2007 Jaguar XKR convertible has 35k miles and is finished in Liquid Silver Metallic over a black leather interior. Power is from a supercharged 4.2L V8 mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, and options include 20″ Senta wheels, the Wood Luxury package, Premium Sound, and more. Originally a leased vehicle in Illinois, the car was then sold to the first owner in 2010 and serviced at Patrick Jaguar in Naperville, Illinois. The second owner purchased the car in 2016, and added around 10k miles in Rhode Island prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition in October 2018. The seller has installed four new tires, replaced all brake pads, performed a brake fluid flush, an oil service, and replacement of the supercharger belt, pulleys, and tensioners. This XKR is now offered by the selling dealer in Massachusetts with some service receipts, a Carfax report, and a clean Rhode Island title.
A 2011 damage report was reportedly due to a shopping cart hitting the right front fender, which was reportedly repaired without any paintwork required. The nose was protected by a clear bra until recently, and the exterior condition is shown in detail in gallery close-ups.
XKR models featured revised front styling with mesh grilles and hood vents, and a deck lid spoiler. 14″ front disc brake rotors and firmer suspension settings were factory upgrades. Four new brake pads and quad exhaust tips were installed by the seller. Optional 20″ Senta wheels are fitted, and new staggered-width Firestone Firehawk tires were installed with a 4-wheel alignment performed in preparation for the sale. The seller states that the car was driven seasonally and garaged during winters by previous owners.
The power-folding convertible top features a heated glass rear window and stows below the bodywork. Gallery photos show the top in raised and folded positions.
The 2+2 cabin is trimmed in black leather, which extends to the dash, doors, and center console. Burl walnut veneers were optioned, and other interior equipment includes a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and Alpine audio. The digital odometer shows 34,700 miles, and around 9k miles were added by the previous owner between 2016-2018.
Bolstered seats are trimmed in black leather with perforated center inserts. 16-way power adjustment includes back bolsters and lumbar support, and heat and memory settings are equipped. Minor creasing can be seen on both front seats as pictured above. The air conditioning evaporator drain tube was replaced by the seller to prevent future leaking. Manual gear selection is available with steering wheel buttons or the lateral shifter gate.
The 4.2L AJ-V8 receives 13 lbs of boost from an Eaton Roots-type supercharger, and pairs with a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. Factory power ratings were 420 horsepower with 413 lb-ft of torque when new. An engine oil cooler, twin air-to-liquid intercoolers, and steel-braided brake lines were standard equipment on R-spec cars.
The seller states that the car has required only basic maintenance and inspections since new. An oil service and brake fluid flush were performed in November 2018, and a new supercharger belt, pulleys, and tensioners were installed in preparation for the sale. Additional underbody photos can be seen in the gallery below.
