This 1968 Ford Mustang convertible was produced at the San Jose, California production facility and is equipped with a C-code 289ci V8 paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. The car was acquired by the seller in 2016, and recent service is said to have included a new clutch, new tires, a new convertible top, oil change, and more. This Mustang shows just under 95k miles and is offered with a clear California title in the seller’s name.

An exterior repaint in the factory-correct Acapulco Blue was carried out under prior ownership. A spot of rust is noted along the left rear wheel well, and photos included in the gallery display several chips and dings around the body.

New BF Goodrich white-letter tires have recently been installed on the stock steel wheels and an alignment was performed. A new black soft top replaced the original and is shown in the gallery below.

The blue interior appears to be largely complete and serviceable but worn. Carpet and seat upholstery could benefit from replacement, and separation is noted along the center console. A replacement color-correct dashpad is included in the sale.

The C-code 289ci V8 is paired with a 3-speed manual transmission, and is believed by the seller to feature an aftermarket camshaft, exhaust headers, and mufflers. Though prior records are limited, the car is said to have been recently serviced with a new clutch, rebuilt brake booster, fuel filter, oil change, and transmission service. Per the seller, the shifter exhibits some looseness.
