This 1970 Fiat 500 is finished in white over a black interior and powered by an air-cooled 650cc twin linked to a 4-speed manual transaxle. Modifications include an upgraded camshaft, exhaust, Dell’Orto 40 carburetor, Abarth finned oil sump, aftermarket wheels, and more. The car has spent four years with the seller, who imported it to the US from Italy in March 2018. Changes of the oil, fuel filter, spark plugs, belt, battery, and brakes were carried out following importation. This Fiat is offered with Italian documentation and transferable New York registration in the seller’s name.
The car received a respray in white during a refurbishment in Sicily approximately 14 years ago according to the seller. The exterior features chromed bumpers and a sliding sunroof that is shown open and closed in gallery photos. Badging includes Abarth emblems on the body and wheels as well as 595 lettering on the trunk lid and engine cover.
Exterior modifications include tinted rear windows, smoked turn signals and tail lights, and rain gutters finished in a black and white checkerboard pattern. New 12″ 19-spoke wheels wear Yokohama 165/60 tires. Recent brake service performed by the seller included fresh shoes, lines, and fluid.
The cabin features black upholstery with red carpets, black mats, and a matte-finish dash. A Veglia speedometer houses a 5-digit odometer showing just under 97k kilometers (~60k miles), about 4,000 km of which have been added by the seller. Modifications include an Abarth-branded steering wheel and shift knob as well as aluminum pedal covers. The heater is non-functional and has been bypassed.
The rear-mounted 650cc twin sends power through a 4-speed manual gearbox. Upgrades reportedly include a Dell’Orto 40 carburetor, new valves, a more aggressive camshaft, a finned Abarth cast alloy valve cover and oil sump, orange Abarth-branded engine covers, and an upgraded exhaust system. The seller has recently changed the oil, spark plugs, fuel filter, belt, and battery.
Suspension and chassis components are shown in additional underside photos provided in the gallery below.
The sale will include keys, documentation from previous owners, and recent service records.
